Kingston offers with the A400 an interesting SSD to improve the performance of a computer, without the acquisition of a solid state drive involving a large outlay.The device has a SATA III interface (6 GB / s) and a Phison controller, equipped with 2 channels and 4 modules. Regarding its storage sizes, it is possible to choose between four alternatives: 120GB, 240GB, 480GB and 960GB. It provides a maximum sequential read rate of 500 MB / s.

Sequential writing varies by ability. It reaches 320 and 350 MB / s in the 120 and 240 GB versions, respectively, while the value rises to 450 MB / s in the two largest models.

The A400 greatly increases its level in terms of random transfer speed, marking the differences with competitors of the same range.
